ABOUT AMECEA GABA PUBLICATIONS
AMECEA GABA PUBLICATIONS was founded in 1958 in Uganda and
was later relocated to Eldoret, Kenya in 1976. Gaba Publications is a publishing
department of the Association of Member Episcopal Conferences of Eastern Africa
(AMECEA) comprising of Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, Uganda, Zambia, Eritrea
and Sudan. Somalia and Djibouti are affiliated members.
AMECEA GABA PUBLICATIONS accepts scholarly pastoral articles and monographs
for publishing in its theological journal – African Ecclesial Review (AFER)
and Spearhead Monograph respectively. As a Christian publishing house, GABA
PUBLICATIONS continues to make Christ’s message relevant through disseminating
reflections, discussions, informed views, documentations and pastoral ministry
experiences. Over the years GABA PUBLICATIONS has documented AMECEA Bishops’
plenary discussions and deliberations on pastoral policies as well as priorities
to be lived and practised by the Church in the region. Whatever is published
by GABA PUBLICATIONS is in conformity with the Teachings of the Catholic Church.
